Liquid Rhinoplasty

Liquid Rhinoplasty in St. George – Oasis Aesthetics

Oasis Aesthetics is proud to offer our patients in Southern Utah the option to change the shape of your nose without surgery. Liquid rhinoplasties, or non-surgical nose jobs, are done in the office using fillers commonly used for the face. These fillers can help fill in areas to provide a more pleasing appearance to your nose. Dr. Jordan Wallin, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, can discuss options for your nose with the full knowledge and background of nasal anatomy to help provide the safest procedure and the best outcome.

Liquid Rhinoplasty FAQs

As with all fillers, the duration of your results can vary a few months depending on your metabolism and the product used, but we usually see results lasting 9 to 12 months. Dr. Wallin will consult with you regarding your goals and decide on a filler with the appropriate thickness to give you the best result.

Many of our patients like the ability to “try on” results that they may experience with a permanent surgical rhinoplasty and opt to have fillers first. This is a great option if you are unsure of what you are looking for or simply don’t have the time to recover from surgery. Liquid nose jobs are less expensive but have to be repeated to maintain your results.

When you arrive for your consultation, Dr. Wallin will take the time to discuss your goals and provide you with surgical and non-surgical options. Once we have decided to do a liquid rhinoplasty, your nose can have a topical anesthesia placed if you are worried about pain from the injection. While the procedure is not totally painless, most of our patients report only a small amount of very temporary pain associated with the injection. We use the smallest needle possible during the procedure. One major advantage of this procedure is that you can help guide us to where you might want a bit more filler to give you the results you are looking for.

Expert surgeon injectors will tell you that the secret to a natural result is to find an injector who is very experienced in surgical rhinoplasty. Dr. Wallin has performed hundreds of rhinoplasties and understands the anatomy and how it will result in a different shape if changed. The fundamentals of surgical rhinoplasty rely on a deep understanding of anatomy and relationships that provide you with a nose that fits your face. Always insist that your liquid rhinoplasty injector has experience with hundreds of surgical rhinoplasties.

It is hard to believe, but making a nose bigger in certain areas can actually give the appearance of a smaller nose overall. This is especially true when filling the bridge of the nose when a person has a hump. Fillers above and below the hump provide a smooth contour to the nose and result in a more pleasing appearance. Small amounts of fillers in the nose’s tip can make a bulbous nose appear slender and smaller overall.

Safety is our primary goal at Oasis Aesthetics for all your procedures. The largest risk of any procedure is unsatisfactory results. Fillers used for facial injections are made of hyaluronic acid, which is commonly described as a complex sugar naturally occurring in our skin. These fillers have been reported to occlude blood vessels when accidentally injected into the vessel, causing the skin to be lost. An expert nasal injector will also discuss the risks of blindness and tissue loss when injecting your nose. Similar to many areas in the face, injections of fillers into the nose are used off-label.

Despite the increased knowledge and experience required to inject the nose, we maintain filler pricing for all our patients no matter where we inject it. Our fillers range in price between $675 to $850 per syringe, and a large majority of patients only need one syringe.
